How it all started:

Do you know these special moments in life? Suddenly, you feel your destiny, your direction, the universe - everything. You are in synch with every vibe of what is around you. Clearly, at any moment there has been for me this passion for music. However, to really get the act together and record an album has taken me some time. For me the defining moment to start the ABONIE poject has been a July night in Paris seeing  "Les Insus" on the hotel TV with the Téléphone hit "Cendrillion".  

This being said, we all should be completely at ease with the journey life has given us. I have been lucky to see a lot of this great planet and have the opportunity to live and work all over Europe, the Americas and Asia. Hohner has been especially instrumental in building my musical skills. My guitar playing has primarily developed on a Hohner ST Ferrari and my keyboard playing on the funky Hohner Clavinet/Pianet Duo which is the most advanced version of the D6. Clearly, there is also a big passion for the Gibson SG and not visible in the videos but deserving same credit are the Höffner guitars and bases. Overall, the album is a very manual affair - with most instruments recorded end to end in one take. If you enjoy my music, please kindly share with you friends and like.
