2nd Album Dusk-to-Dawn released

Dusk-to-Dawn is the new 2nd album released by ABONIE. It is a journey through the night going from Dusk, through quite a bit of darkness, interrupted only by the Stars Moon and the Borealis back to Dawn and the early sun. This is illustrated with the almost “night” album cover and the early morning back cover- the 14 tracks of music in-between. It combines rock, indie with electro elements. The opener is the great indie style Christmas song: X-Mas. With “The Promise”, “Borealis” and “Once” 3 more ballads follow. "The Promise" and “Borealis” more guitar style ballads, whereas “Once” has a decided Electro feel. “Clean Slate” , “Claire de Lune” and “West” are upbeat Electro hyms with less guitar work. “Fall” is a bluesy relaxed jazzy reflection on the end of summer. The remaining tracks are more expressionist and experimental. "San Bernardino” describes an early morning crossing of ABONIE driving his Corvette of the Swiss San Bernardino road, where he was hit near the ruins of the ancient monastry giving the San Bernardino name, by an incredible hail storm turning early morning into deepest night again. Similarly, "Mid-Summer" was written and recorded during a thunder-storm on June 21st, 2024, i.e. Mid-Summer. The “Doomed-City” is an Ode to Madrid and its great clubs and party places - check out also the Video on YouTube in the “ABONIE Music” channel. "The River" was recorded 2022 on the start of Ukraine war, which may explain some of the rougher chords.
